HANNAH'S SHABBAT DRESS
The classic tale of Hannah and her shabbat dress, and how one good deed can make all the difference...
When Hannah's mother gave her a beauiful, new, white Shabbat dress, she warned her to be careful not to get it dirty. Hannah (and the kids in the audience) play with the house and farm animals, all the while making sure to remember's mommy's request and be careful of the new dress.
But when Hannah goes to the forest, she comes across an old, tired man carrying a sack of coal. He really could use some help. If Hannah helps him, her dress will get dirty. But not helping him would be unkind. What will Hannah do, and what will be the consequences of her choices? This classic Israeli kids tale is the perfect way to talk about Mitzvot and how even small kids can help make the world a better place. Using yoga, music, puppets and story-telling, Dreamcoat Experience takes the kids on a journey through the choices we can make and what Judaism has to say to help us make them. All our shows are bilingual, interactive and musical! |
"Ella [of Dreamcoat Experience] was great and really took the kids on a journey. The combination of English and Hebrew was wonderful and easy to follow. She was attentive to the audience and made sure to include everyone in the story with lots of patience and grace. It really was a delightful show!"
