GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
in partnership with Areyvut - Mitzvah Clowning
We spend so much time talking about mitzvot and tzedakah. Shouldn't we putting those words to ACTION? At Dreamcoat Experience our children acquire skills of many varieties: circus, music, dance, drama and more... And we'd like to use those skills to bring light, joy and laughter to the community!
Joining forces with Areyvut, a nonprofit organization that gives back to the local community, kids will get to apply their skills for the mitzvah of bikkur cholim (visiting the sick), elderly, and those with special needs.
Mitzvah Clowning - students who want to get involved will learn how to apply clown make-up, create balloon animals, put together a costume, juggle, do acrobatics and initiate conversations with others who may be different from them.
Areyvut organizes monthly Mitzvah Clown visits to area senior centers, inviting our kids to participate and continue their good deeds by visiting with patients. Mitzvah Clowning is not only the gift that keeps on giving, but it also provides people of all backgrounds to get involved in the mitzvah of bikkur cholim.
